 The principle behind a cantilever gate system is counter balance. The gate when installed sits on a weighted pad this allows the pad to take the weight of the gate. Ideal in lots of circumstances it gives maximum entrance space whilst not compromising on valuable parking space. With no visible track in the ground this is ideal if the entrance is uneven and not level. Built with design in mind, the options are endless. As with all our gates we can fully automate each install with a complete package of safety equipment and access control tailored to each application. A sliding gate is by far one of the most secure systems you could consider. Please note that the gate needs the same plus a third more on reverse travel to open.  

With a tracked system the track is visible across the drive entrance, the advantage of a tracked system is a greater opening with the gate can be achieved.  As with a cantilever gate there is no encroachment on the drive/ entrance.
